Community Foundation impact

Be a champion for children and youth across Canada

The Canada Post Community Foundation awards grants to organizations all across the country, from small, underfunded projects that often go unnoticed, to national organizations with far-reaching impacts. 100% of funds raised go straight to community projects that help children and youth learn and thrive.

Our fundraising strategies

The Community Foundation provides around $1 million in grants annually. The money is raised through customer donations in post offices, employee support and the sale of a special fundraising stamp. More than 75% of the funds raised come from our annual in-store campaign with support from generous customers and employees.
The 2024 Community Foundation stamp features an illustration of animals floating in a hot air balloon.

Give your stamp of approval

The Community Foundation semi-postal fundraising stamp is issued annually. One dollar from the sale of each booklet goes directly to the Foundation. Stamps can be purchased online or at your local post office.
